Check out Tent Blogger who makes $44,000 a year. The stats are posted in his sidebar. Tent Blogger is a stay-at-home dad, he's funny, witty, creative, and has a slew of free advice on how to make money with your blog. I love how he gets personal with his readers.

In any case, like I said, it takes a lot of patience. Tent Blogger guides you through all the steps of how and what it takes to make a comfortable living ($44,000). I recommend you sign up for his free newsletter. You'll get his "classes" and tips in your email. All for free.

I've started implementing his wisdom on my book blog, The Watchers, and I've seen nice growth of traffic--got a long way to go. I'll be working on this blog next.

How To Make Money with Q & A's on MyLot's Social Network

I have yet to find the affiliate program pot of gold. Everything, if you want to make decent online money, takes a little bit of work and patience. It takes time unless you have the magical formula to get all those sign ups--people who are willing to click on your affiliate links and join the program. Friendly hint.

So this is my experiment post. I joined MyLot quite a few years back but never really committed to it. Since the new year (2012) I've decided to post one question per day. It's actually quite an easy program to join and get involved in. MyLotters might take offense to being called a program or even a social network. But it works, in my opinion, like the latter. You make friends, or they will find you if you have interesting things to talk about, and depend on those friends to reply to your discussions.

Posting questions, aka discussions, will earn you money. Responding to other people's discussions will also benefit you. From what I understand posting pictures is yet another way of earning. I forget to do this and will add that to my do-list at MyLot.

Nonetheless, MyLot is now my experiment site to make money. C'mon, a social network that earns you money. I'm not sure how much money you can make per week but I'm shooting for $10. And if I can do that I will then up the anty. One thing I do know is that MyLotters are real and speak their minds. Most discussions, which can include political and religious, are authentic and interesting though they can get a little nasty sometimes. The powers-to-be at MyLot do keep an eye on things and will delete when conversations go against their guidelines or get out of hand. Of course, there are pointless questions but that just makes it easier to socialize for money.

Associated Content is Now Yahoo Voices on the Yahoo Contributor Network

Associated Content was bought out by Yahoo sometime back and seem to be tightening their reigns. All links will eventually lose the associated content name as everything will transfer to a Yahoo domain. No complaint there. Their guidelines, only slightly though, show some changes. They even want us to go through our already published works and re-edit what might not be considered one of our best. Trust me, there's a few of my short stories and other articles I will polish. After all, we should only publish our best. And if we decide to delete anything, we won't lose our page views. That's nice. Most of us depend on page views.

Also up for article of the year is an interview I did with Jeff Gerke, publisher of Marcher Lord Press. If you know someone famous, semi famous, or a local hero, Yahoo Voices are looking for interviews.

Yahoo Voices pays upfront, the competition is getting pretty fierce but you can publish short stories, poetry and other articles without pay. Yet, you will get paid for page views. All works, whether paid or unpaid are now publishable only after their people okay it. They're cleaning up the site. But if you have a writing niche and are knowledgeable in your field of expertise you can make more then pennies.

Earlier this year Californians were given the news that Governor Jerry Brown signed an anti-affiliate law (for lack of a better title). We could no longer participate in affiliate programs such as the one Amazon offers. That didn't sit well with a lot of people including Amazon themselves. Well, I'm not sure who all went to bat for us but soon after the bill was signed it was overturned.

Making Money Online By Posting and Answering Questions

This is MyLot--an online social network where people post simple, or sometimes not so simple, questions and get paid for every question posted. When you answer questions you are also paid. It's quite an easy way to bring in extra cash. And again, if you build up your following/friends there, which isn't all that difficult, you can bring home a pretty penny. Payments are through PayPal.

Posting questions could range from anything like "how is the weather in your part of the world?" to "what should we do about raising the debt ceiling?" Of course, threads about politics and religion can get pretty nasty, or at least very interesting.

I heard that Kindle books actually outsold hard cover books last year. That's quite an accomplishment. The scramble is on to not lose the art of reading a physical book. But why buy books when you can download thousands of books onto one little device? The next 20 years or so should be interesting.

In any case, I've come across this little nugget of gold--Kindle is now offering FREE reading apps for Windows PC, your iPhone and other devices. How they make their money is a mystery to me. Here's a link for you.

New Publishing House: G8Press Launches Successfully

Well, it took us a while but we needed to iron out all the wrinkles before we launched G8Press. And today we did . . . launched and ironed.

We love all you writers of fiction, speculative fiction, nonfiction, poetry, lyrics and even short story collections--all are welcome in our new publishing house. It's not difficult to walk through the gate but your work will have to be edited, at least once(or one gazillion) by you. If you are part of a writers group, you have a better chance of being accepted.

In any case, as a writer myself I know how hard it is to break into the business. I have read so many good manuscripts but publishers would rather take a chance on Stephen King etc. And who could blame them? G8Press was created to help authors get published and readers to find them. Of course, if you want fame and riches G8Press is probably not the company for you. However, we will take care of your baby (authors come first with us) and shall partner with you in the marketing process.

Here's our first project--a simple cookbook titled, "If I Can Cook It You Can Cook It Cookbook." It took eighteen online friends to help us gather recipes. We had a blast. The recipes are simple, the graphics are fun and the photography is awesome. Come check it out in our E-store and soon it will be available on Amazon as well.

Are you one to scour the internet for great deals, freebies or coupons? HIF, also known as Hey It's Free, is a fun website where you can find all sorts of free stuff. The site's host is quite an entertainer who goes by
the name of Goob (that should peak one's interest). You might be a little skeptical that there is such a thing as free anything, let alone clothes, food, laundry detergent, or even meals on your birthday, but Goob has found them and shares them with his faithful followers. And mark my words, Goob will make a convert out of you and most likely you'll be addicted to those freebies soon enough.

As far as I can tell, his blog, powered by WordPress, is updated almost daily with the latest offers from companies such as Easy Bake, Wal Mart and Pantene. Goob does his research well. As a matter of fact, he states that his days are spent looking for 100% legit, non-spammie freebies. If there's a good free sample out there he'll let you know and if it's not worth it he'll notify you about it-always with a good chuckle. He gave a staunch warning, through a home-made video clip, against receiving the Soy Joy Bar, but I had to sign up for one anyhow. I couldn't resist.

Of course, subscribing to HIF's email newsletter proved to be a wise decision for me-the best new offers right to my inbox. With my memory cells not working all that well these days it's nice to receive the links to the newest freebies in an email.

Starting Up Our Own Publishing House

Well, this has got to be our biggest adventure into the business world yet. Our own publishing firm, or house as we like to put it. But we're learning to keep it simple. It's about all we can handle. We had so many friends and family who wanted us to design and publish their cook books we decided to try and make a living out of it using internet tools like CreateSpace.

A few friends had completed novels, a collection of short stories, poetry but no idea how to get it published or even break into the traditional publishing world. Self-publishing can cost you a nice little bundle of cash or when publishing on Lulu or even CreateSpace time was the price to pay (and a knowledge in layout was helpful). So yeah, it is convenient to let friends do it for other friends. And we loved doing. But time is precious, more so these days with proms and graduations and whatnot.

In any case, we've paid Go Daddy for our own domain and soon http://www.G8Press.com will be up and running (don't bothering visiting just yet, it's a big blank screen of nothing). We've got a really small staff and a smaller budget. Ah, that's the way it goes. Perhaps adgitize will help us. But our staff does include published authors, two editors, a webmaster and an illustrator. Not too shabby.

We'll remain simple using every freebie on the internet. And keeping it all between friends and family for the moment. This should be interesting.

Sponsored Tweets is a great program that pays you per tweet. Throughout the year I picked up a few tips that will get you eligible for the program and start making money with Twitter.

You need about 100 followers
You need over 100 Tweets
You should really try to tweet every day
You need authentic tweets. Not just links to your products, promo's, websites and such
Your "personal" tweets need to outnumber your sponsored tweets
Interact with your followers, whenever you can
I like to retweet others, especially if they're authors or have great blogs etc.

Be creative and have fun. You can set your own price but Sponsored Tweets will look at how many followers you have and how much you tweet. I make $1 per tweet and earn about $50 a month. Now this could increase for me if I get more referrals--something I am continually working on. Here's to a great year making money with Twitter.

is fantastic if you need to quickly make titles or headers for your blog. I love this little tool and it even allows you to put a clear background on your graphics. Every graphic on this post was created using InterActImage. Well, actually the flower divider was created by shabby blogs (the creators of my blog background) but I used InterActImage to give it a clear background. This means you can use the image on dark backgrounds and it won't have a big white box around it.

There's a large list of fonts to choose from to generate your text. Some fonts even have graphics. Let's see if I can make one real fast . . .

Okay, pretty good for 60 seconds, right? Oh humor me. Just trying to make a point here. Anyhow, just wanted to let you all know, if you're looking for a nice text generator, InterActImage might do it for you. I've used it on a few of my blogs. And of course you can give your text a little bit of color.

It's like my own handwriting only better. In any case, have fun creating those cute headers and titles with this text generator. You won't even have to have any html knowledge. With this text generator it's more like one of those if-I-can-do-it you can too thingies.

Here's a place, APSense, where you can promote your online business and get paid for doing so. It took me a little while to feel my way around it, but I'm getting the hang of it. You can start your own group for your business as well. Just make your pages and business center attractive while placing links and pictures are allowed. I've even put up a slide show with appropriate links. Make it good because others vote on your center and give you the thumbs up on your blog posts.

It's a very productive site and you can earn quite a lot from other business owners while networking. I guess it's like one of those mixers at your local Chamber of Commerce where you get to mingle with your town's business owners. Making Money With Home Videos

Associated Content is still my favorite site to submit articles, fiction, poetry and even slide shows and videos. My latest video project took a few hours to put together. However, once I finished gathering the vintage photographs of my family the process was easy with Associated Content. I use Windows Movie Maker for my videos. It came with the computer. No need really to buy anything expensive. Windows Movie Maker will do for these projects. If you need music for your video you can go to Kevin MacLeod's site for short clips and royalty free.

Publishing on AC is extremely simple and fast. A few days ago I took my trusty digital camera into the back yard, shot a few amazing pics of our garden and viola a pretty slide show. I penned a few cool-crafted comments under each picture to personalize the content further.

Like I've stated before, Associated Content will pay you upfront payments for well written articles ranging anywhere between $2.00 and $20. My highest earnings for an article was $14.50. Not too shabby considering that the article continues to make money for every page view. Everything you submit to AC is a moneymaker. Of course, if you don't get the upfront offers you simply submit good content and people will come and read or watch . . . or even listen as you can also publish your audio there.

Sponsored Tweets let's you set your own price for tweeting. I charge $1.00 per tweet. There are literally hundreds of companies who have partnered with Sponsored Tweets and use tweeters to get their product out there on the net.

I'm getting at least two offers a day, sometimes more sometimes less, and obviously getting affiliates is an option. And you do make a percentage of what they make. That's the advantage. I'm working on getting lots more Tweople to join my Twitter nation.

Payout is $50 which is fairly easy to make. I keep missing offers because I forget to check my email. Duh me. Plus you have the option of not accepting offers. I've done it once. In any case, Sponsored Tweets can also be found on Twitter and they have lots of tutorials on how to be successful.

I've just added this blog to PayPerPost. It's been a good source of income in the past but I sort of got away from it because they had a major overhaul and I got confused. Oh yeah, it happens to the best of us. I made over $2000 in one year from PayPerPost with my other blog: Pieces of Me. Not too shabby . . . and then they changed on me.

We'll give it another try though. Offers run anywhere from posting a simple link for 50cents to a 200 word full on ad for $25.00. However, an offer doesn't mean your blog is approved. Obviously, if the advertiser likes your blog you stand a better chance. So work on your blog!

Hopefully, my inbox will just overflow with offers soon. One can only hope. It's a good program. I believe $50 must be accrued before payout. Hey, just find two jobs for $25 and your there.

I've been writing articles for Associated Content for quite a while now. The set-up is so easy that I keep coming back to AC even after others have sent me links to write for them. They just don't earn as well anywhere else. Recently, I've learned that creating slide shows can pay just as well. There's no up front payment for this, however, but each page view will earn you a little bit of cash. I believe the site is getting better and now I've been invited to be one of their featured contributors for their Arts & Entertainment section. This will give me three paying jobs per month--a little scary because now I'm obligated to come up with the content. It's also an honor, of course.

Our Cook Book Project

We are gathering recipes for Cook Book number two, tentatively called "Cooking With Online Friends" because we started it with all our friends on Facebook. "Cooking With Online Friends" has a small staff of three and will be more than your "average" cook book. We are aiming for fun and funny with story-book illustrations, anecdotes, devotionals with a cooking theme, cartoon strips, doodles, one-line recipes and whatnot.

If you would like to send us some of your unique and original recipes we will give you credit (a by line) and a link to your blog or website. Each cook will have their own section. Present your recipes like you had your own cable show. Show us personality. Liven up your presentation, so to speak.

Searching With Swagbucks

Most of us probably search the internet with google or yahoo, as I did for as long as I can remember. I first heard about Swagbucks from my 16-year-old son who needed a few referrals so that he can earn a few extra Swagbucks (it's as good as cash in their stores).

It took me a while but since I would be helping my son get those all important band posters etc. I thought, why not? If it brings a smile to one's teenager, a parent just can't lose. Besides I search and research the web all the time . . . winning a few things couldn't hurt.

Well a few days into my searching with Swagbucks I realized I was hooked. The prizes you win aren't the cheapo stuff; gift certificates from Target, Disney Store, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Itunes (which is why I decided to join Swagbucks) and for 70 Swagbucks earned (a special at the moment) you can cash it in for $5 which is put straight into your PayPal account. So far I bypassed the Itunes, since I've still got a few dollars in my account with them, and took the $5 payment with PayPal--$20 in one month. Not too shabby.

There's plenty of other stuff to win including books, comic books, and just pages and pages of quality items. I guess you should check it out for yourself before I spoil it for them as Swagbucks could probably explain it better. By the way this is not a paid advertisement. It's just me writing about something fun and hopefully get a few referrals . . . it's allowed, right?

Summer Movies

My good pal, Greg Johnson (aka Thorgrym) has published his book, The Armor of God. Sales has been very good and Greg is in the running for a hefty (and we mean hefty) prize. He is in the top 100 sellers for the month of March. Yes, he is within striking distance of number 1.

Publishing With Associated Content

One thing I've learned from Associated Content is that you need to write a lot of articles to give yourself a chance to earn a decent paycheck. Writing multiple articles with search-engine-friendly words will pick up extra page views for your work. Remember you get paid for page views.

Of course, if you can actually get paid upfront for your articles that would be a sweeter deal. To get paid your work needs to be well edited and, obviously, searchable on Google. I seem to get paid for how-to articles the most. And I'm pretty sure many of you are experts in something. Think of your passions and write about it; children perhaps, school, knitting, drawing, writing etc. Just start out with "How To . . . "

For my latest article "Cooking With Cabbage," I had to do a little bit of research. Not much, but you at least want to get your facts straight. Six hundred words later I got paid $5. I know, not to boast about. But it's still making money with those page views. Some folks at Associated Content are writing 30 articles a day. More than likely, I would never reach that goal but one a day should suffice. Good luck and keep writing.

The Paint Wars

Ever found yourself on the losing end of a paintball battle? Nah, me neither. But my kids had a blast shooting down their youth pastors. I really should have joined in that paintball war . . . I'm such a sissy! Okay now, this sport is huge. Our young people drove a good hour to get to the best spot up in the desert. Actually these particular paintballers had a whole battlefield at the foot of our local mountains to play in.

The equipment these guys use and wear are amazing and, mind you, they take this game very serious. Military style guns or paintball sniper style are pretty impressive and the battle plans these teams draw up . . . oh my . . . it's like a tactical paradise.

In any case, I've been thinking that I might have to be on the front lines next time this battle begins. I will have to get one of those paintball masks that completely covers my head. No way am I getting paint stuck in my hair. I know . . . I'm such a girl.

The MyLot Generation

In my quest to make money online I've decided to work harder on just a few sites instead of a lot of different ones. So, having said that, I've successfully dropped the penny-making programs and am concentrating on ones that can bring at least $50 a month. That doesn't leave too many sites if you can't find people to join under you. But I am going to try and get my referrals as well as being very active on places such as MyLot.

MyLot is a lot of fun and I can actually get popular there, as everyone can. This is because it's quite a close-knit family over there. Everybody, or most everyone, will want to be your friend and that alone is good for the earnings. Most people don't have referrals but you can make hundreds of dollars (paid through PayPal) if you're lucky enough to get your friends, family and others to join you there.

In any case, I've made a commitment to post at least one discussion a day and join in a few of my friends' discussions as well. $10 a week is pretty easy this way. And it only takes a around 10 to 20 minutes a day. Not too bad. Wanna come join us? Very cool! I'll let you know if the earnings go up considerably as this one-question-a-day commitment is a new experiment.

Here's my latest article at Associated Content, "How To Talk To Teens." I'm very proud of this one as it is very close to my heart. It was a chance to study my child's culture and break through that all important communication wall.

Furthermore, I've found that even though the articles written for AC should be of high quality it is actually the quantity that will help with the paycheck. I've learned that one article a day will put more than food on the table. And for a writer 500 words a day is probably good discipline.

Movie Trailer: Marley and Me

Oh my goodness. Not too many movies can make me laugh but if it's anything like the trailer, Marley and Me, will be a riot. I love Owen Wilson and Jen A. too. I'm glad she finally nabbed a good role.

A friend of mine gave me a copy of the book. It was actually on my TBR list but I've gotten way behind on that. Wonder if I could finish it before Christmas. Each year, the kids and I look forward to a good movie on Christmas day. It hasn't happen for a while. I'm glad Marley came out or we would have been stuck watching "The Spirit," or is that just "Spirit." In any case, check out this trailer and have a good chuckle.

Summer Concerts, Movies and Scams

Ah, Summer is just breezing by. Or perhaps I should say, scorching by. Harvest Festival in California has come and gone as has FreedomFest in Washington. Would you believe it, I missed them both. We were planning on driving up to Washington for the three-day concert event but the price of gas just made it impossible. I wonder how many people passed on vacations because of it?

In any case, I finally got a chance to see "The Dark Knight" with my son and a friend. Awesome movie. I think Christian Bale is Batman and Heath Ledger did an awesome eerie Joker. The end of this one was way too sad for me but fitting--gave such more meaning to the "Dark" part of the Knight. Taking on the guilt of another to preserve that other's good standing with the people. Mmmm, sounds a little like what Jesus did. What say ye?

On another note, I still haven't see "Iron Man." I've had several people call and email me now about seeing Layne (my moody teenage I-wanna-be-a-star-maybe son) in the village scene. Perhaps I'll see it this week sometime. Not quite sure why I'm stalling. I've been wanting to see this thing since it was in production still. Oh well, silly me.

One last thing and thanks for reading this far. It's sad to say but one of the PTC programs I joined has proven to be a scam. It's 5Bux or 5 Buxs, I believe. They owe me $20 which I've accepted will never be paid out now. The site can't even be accessed. Live and learn I guess. It's a good thing. That's it for now, have a great Olympic week and go USA!!!

Finally Making Money With ClixSense

Here's the scoop on ClixSense for you. Since I've been paid twice now I decided to upgrade. After all $7 worth of ads, so far this week, is pretty impressive. Of course, it does take a little while getting through all those ads. And I do wonder after the initial upgrade if I will still receive over 200 - 300 adds in my inbox. We shall see. It does make the $10 per year fee bearable though.

I'm estimating about $40 and up per month. A few ads were 4 cents and never below 1 cent each. I upgraded about three days ago and, as I've stated already, have $7.00 accumalated since the last payout, which is $10.00. There is a handling fee (or at least I think it's a handling fee) of almost $3.00.

It's still a wonderful deal and as usual if you can get the referrals you have it made. You receive 10 cents per referral and $2.00 each for those who upgrade. I'm pretty happy with ClixSense so far. I wonder if $100 per month is possible. Maybe I will make that a goal.

The Dark Knight

$155 million this weekend. Wow! I didn't go see it yet. Eventually I will, but I might cry ever time I see Heath Ledger and that might be a long cry. Furthermore, I haven't even seen Iron Man and my son was in that one. Yeah, I know don't blink. But I heard he was still on the screen after three blinks. LOL. Anyway, I guess Batman is the movie of the summer. Let me know if you've seen it and did you like it.,

The Stark Museum

Having been married to an artist for fifteen years I learned to appreciate art on so many different levels. I also realized a long time ago that American history, especially how the Old West was won and lost, fascinated me. Therefore, needless to say, the Stark Museum of Art is on my list of most interesting places to visit. This summer we will be visiting our very good friends in Texas and they have already promised to accompany us through the museum.

The Stark Museum of Art located in Orange, Texas, has paintings, prints and sculptures from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Remember the breathtaking and most stunning landscapes back then, or how about the people and of course, the wildlife that surrounded them? Interesting to say the least. These collections of art also depict the lives of the American Indians. Not to mention articles created by members of different tribes: from the Great Plains to the Northwest Coast.

This museum is a must see and I would venture to say your children might take an interest as well. Show them the beautiful articles made by American Indians such as baskets, pottery and Navajo rugs and blankets. It's all a part of this great nation's history. And for all the literary buffs there are collections of rare books and manuscripts to sink your teeth in.

In any case, this fine museum is part of the Stark Foundation which was founded by Nelda C. and H. J. Lutcher Stark. Their mission was to improve live in Southeast Texas through assisting education of the arts, health and human services. I believe it also gives out grants and scholarships. In other words, my friends, it is all worthwhile to go visit. The museum is in Orange, Texas. Bring the kids and have a wonderful day traveling through time. Enjoy.

When ANGELS and SERPENTS Dance . . .

Does that title spark a little bit of interest? Curiosity, at least? How about Payable On Death? All sounds rather ominous, does it not? It is the Gatekeeper's blog after all. What can one expect? So it is, that Lady Gatekeep will "steal" the rest of this story from kid brother's blog, Time 2 Stand, since I know he would not mind. It is a rather wondrous blog and worth you while, I might add. Much wisdom to impart, I say.

I do miss Calvary Chapel, oh so much, Pastor Raul was the one who put me on that straight and narrow path almost 32 years ago. Where has that time gone? Yet, the Lord has made my home at NewSong and a fine House it is.

In any case, we would like to draw your attention to the EXIT FESTIVAL this June. It's a free concert and headlining shall be those rockers (with haircuts, I believe), POD (Payable On Death). You won't want to miss this. Grab all those young ones, stuff them in vans, horse-drawn carriages, Hummers, whatever, just get the neighborhood kids there! Amen.

Fresh Scents And Home Make-Overs

Everyone, no doubt, would love the chance to give their home a nice face-lift, a complete makeover so to speak. And, of course, if some company offered you a $20,000 makeover you would enter the competition, wouldn't you? Well, I know you would have, but alas, it is too late. But you can look at the submissions in the semi-finalist gallery if you like and maybe get on the ball for next time.

There are ten semi finalists and yes, I decided to watch every single submission (a few of them were videos) and give you a link to the one family who I thought was deserving of the $20,000 makeover. This, however, was really a tough decision. And I don't say that lightly.

In any case, I got it down to three and little children will always captivate my heart so I went with the family who literally have nothing and could really use some help. Mom and Dad gave up having their own room so their kids could have one. Let's hope this competition can give them some hope.

Oh, I love those tear jerker stories with happy endings.

5 Buxs Update

Well, the one thing that I do know about 5Buxs is that you reach payout, $5, super fast. I'm actually already at $10 with 5 Buxs and I would imagine if I found a few referrals I should be making around $50 a month. This would naturally increase when more friends sign up with me. I believe it's five levels down that would still earn for you .01cent for every add they click on. And for every add their referrals clicked on. Not bad.

Here's the scoop. I read the terms and am waiting patiently for my $5.18 which has been sent to PayPal but is still pending. Not quite sure why. However, they do say that it will take 30 days to clear or something like that. That's quite a long time. But even PayPerPost will take time to send your earnings and they eventually do. So I'll be patient.

Of course, I can already ask for my second payout. Maybe I shall do that today. In any case, I now see a lot more advertising on their site including E-Bay which might mean they are getting a nice little reputation for themselves. Like I said, my money isn't in my account yet, but I'm hopeful.

Working On The Set of Iron Man

It's finally almost here. One of Summer's blockbusters, Iron Man. My son worked for two weeks on that film and had a blast. Of course, like any other time he's worked, his little bitty might wind up on the cutting room floor. Such is the life. No matter, he got paid, met a few interesting characters and got a chance to work with stunt men who impressed him more than any movie star. A dream come true for a moody teenager.

In any case, writing about our little misadventures in Hollywood seems to be a good selling point at Associated Content. I'm sure you have your own best sellers. All you need is 400 to 600 word articles on life, love, cooking, sports, music, politics or as in my case, television and movies. Have fun with it and get paid for everything you publish. If AC doesn't pay you up front you can still publish your article and receive money for every page view. It's a great deal.

Shangri La: A Place of Beauty

If you live anywhere near Orange Texas, I would imagine you've already visited the Shangri La Gardens and Nature Center. The sign says, "Be Kind To Your World." That should tell you something about this wonderful place. Founder, H. J. Lutcher Stark, originally developed this center to improve, as well as enrich lives in Southeast Texas. It's still a privately funded organization.

Even kids will want to go on a school field trip here. After all, there's a swamp with three outdoor classrooms. And you travel by boat. I venture to say that would sound pretty cool to most kids.

Furthermore this is the first project in Texas to earn the US Green Building Council's Platinmum certification for LEED®-NC. Explanation: Shangri La obtained the highest green building and performance measures. Good to know.

Think about retreating to such a place. A chance to explore, discover and be at one with the gardens and nature. I think we call it harmony. Ah, such peace.

In any case, I heard it said that it's quite an enchanted place. Now there's something we all should be . . . enchanted. So, to say the least, you should come and travel Shangri La's wetland ecosystem in a specially designed pontoon boat. There's a whole other world out there to explore! There's a lake, there's a swamp, a 1200-year-old survivor tree, a bird blind, a lab and an outpost. What more could you ask to make your trip worthwhile?

School tours are available. Make sure you tell your kids that it could take up to an hour just for the walk about. They'll probably love it.

If you live in Orange Texas, shame on you if you haven't visited this 252-acre preserve. And for those outside of Texas, make sure you plan your day and visit their website for all necessary information. Enjoy!

5 Bux

As usual I wouldn't recommend a PTC program if I thought it was a scam, or just not worth our time. Some programs pay you a quarter of a cent or less. People still join, but those kinds of sites just drive me nuts.

In any case I've signed up for a paid to click called 5Bux which pays 2 cents per click and they give about 10 or more ads a day. It didn't take very long at all to reach payout which of course is 5 bucks . . . American I presume. You also make 1 cent per ad viewed by your referral. That's quite a nice paycheck if you can get a few buddies to join you.

Well, not so fast. I have made payout and I asked for it yesterday. The little message below said that processing this will take at least 30 days. Plus they are going to check to make sure I didn't break any TOS. Okay, I'll be patient. I will let you know if I actually get paid. If I do, this is definitely something I would stick with.

The Perfect Gift

This is a great incentive for employees of a medium, or even a small, business. I mean to say, don't you just love receiving those corporate gift cards? It's absolutely marvelous. Not to mention the company's logo can be placed on the card and make it look all professional and what not.

For all you savvy business owners, think of this--giving such gift cards can create a more friendlier work environment and maybe more production. That's my take on things anyhow; holiday gifts, outstanding, employee anniversaries, nice, client thank yous, very fitting. In any case it's a safe bet that these little gift cards, custom made, will serve as the perfect gift.

Kettering University is Number 1

There are quite a few schools these days online and off that offer great engineering programs. However, not too many can guarantee a job upon graduation. Is Kettering University different? Can they secure a career for their graduates? Perhaps, or at least they seem to put their students on the right path.

I had to do a little bit of research but here's the deal on Kettering University. Their engineering co-op programs allows students to work on real-world projects with up-to-date technology. Here's five best things about Kettering as told by one of their students who had a chance to visit with top engineers from Volvo, BMW amongst others . . . 1) work experience before graduation, 2) the maturing factor, 3) personal interaction with professors because of smaller campus, 4) unity amongst students, 5) employment rating right out of school.

Sounds pretty good, I must say. Furthermore, Kettering has been ranked number one for both Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering. US News and World Report both give this ranking in their annual "America's Best Colleges Guide for 2008." Considering they beat out Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, that's impressive.

Well, there you have it. If you are interested in mechanical engineering or any field mentioned above Kettering seems to be the college of choice. Here's to everyone's future.

GP Taylor's US Book Tour

If you haven't heard of GP Taylor you will soon. He's about to embark on a tour, more than likely promoting his new book published by Tyndale. Mr. Taylor likes to visit schools where his aim is to get those Jr. High kids to appreciate reading again.

In any case, we hope to see one of his first novels "Shadowmancer" on the big screen someday, or perhaps the "Tizzler Sisters" will make its way to the US as "Muriah Mundi" has.

Mariah Mundi is our teenage hero who has lost both his parents. This makes it hard for him to stay at the Academy, of course, since there are no more funds. Mariah is then send off to work in a grand hotel where he meets his side kick Sascha. That's a great formula, by the way--young hero with female sidekick.

Together they solve the mystery surrounding the Hotel and the people running it, so to speak, and yes a few crimes along the way. Mr. Taylor is a master story teller, not to mention a fabulous creator of action and lots of drama. The book has twists and turns, with a deliciously wicked female antagonist, that will keep you glued to each page--you don't want to miss a thing. It's a fast paced novel, with a few words the average twelve-year-old might need a dictionary for. Expand that vocabulary I say. Besides, my friend and mentor children's writer Arleta Richardson says that children like to come across hard words once in a while. Makes them feel smarter, you know. Especially given the chance to find out the meaning.

Cook Books

Here's a look into mom's cook book, "Come and Dine." It is quite a simple book, which doesn't mean it wasn't hard to put together. We don't have too many left so we hope you get your copy soon. Recipes were gathered from family and friends, some are complex and others are very simple meals. Exotic dishes from Indonesia are my favorite since a lot of those are mom's very own recipes. I love breakfast from Holland and never-heard of before stuff from the Aussie outback.

Anyhow, here's a little taste:

Pisang Goreng (Fried Bananas)

Ingredients:
2 eggs
5 large bananas
2 Tbsp. vanilla
oil for deep frying
3/4 C. milk
1 C. flour
salt to taste
powdered sugar

Slightly beat eggs with flour and milk. Add vanilla and salt. Slice bananas into large bite-size pieces and cover generously with the egg mixture. Deep-fry bananas with the mixture by the tablespoonful in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and dust with powdered sugar.

Did you know that bananas can lower the risk of high blood pressure? This is because they are high in potassium. In WWII, my grandma used the white meat of the banana peel to soothe her children's upset stomachs.

The Oyster Project

My first experience with oysters came on our second honeymoon on the island of Maui. Honestly, I thought it was going to be way more slimy-er, but it wasn't that bad. Quite tasty really. Furthermore, I kept craving for more. A cup of wine, grapes (and chocolate for some reason) and a walk on the beach. Those are the memories that seem to pop into my head every time I think, or even smell oysters. Go figure.

In any case, I don't know about you but Gulf oysters are one of my favorites. It's quite a treat for, oh let's say, the honeymooner! I like mine raw with a little bit of lemon. However, I did check a few other recipes and was surprised to see so many. Grilled oysters with Parmesan Cheese, Oyster Alfredo and how about oyster cakes? Seriously, I am going to have to try all of these.

There is one warning that goes along with this special treat. Ah yes, be careful if you are the at-risk consumer. Those of you with a low immune system, have diabetes or liver disease stay away from raw or undercooked oysters. We would like to keep you around, so be oyster aware.

Nonetheless, there are now 3 post-harvest processes that have made it safe for at-risk individuals to eat their oysters raw. The first is IQF (Individual quic-freezing, the second is HCP (heat cool pasteurization) and the third is HCP (high-hidrostatic pressure). I know, it's a lot of scientific kind of jargon. But for us average folk we just need to understand that these processes provide greater conveniences and reduces the risks for those who are considered at-risk consumers.

At any rate, for all us oyster lovers remember it has only one calorie protein, it is an excellent source of zinc, vitamin B and the all important Omega 3 fatty acids. Oh it's so good to know that my oyster will keep me healthy in those golden years. I'm good, how 'bout you. Keep it safe now.

A Child's Book of Angels

We had a great time with our little book contest over at Yuwie. More than 200 hundred comments were left by Yuwie bloggers and friends. That's quite amazing for such a little blog as ours. It also goes to show Yuwie has a fun community spirit going on. In any case, the winner received an autographed copy of Marilyn's book, "A Child's Book of Angels."

This book is beautifully illustrated and consists of simply told Bible stories about God's Messengers in action. It's a wonderful gift for the child in your life. Marilyn J. Woody (the most excellent leader of our writers group and my mentor) is such a gifted writer and, trust me, she knows how to comfort and encourage children just like the angels she wrote about.

NFL Will Lose A Great One

So I guess this is really it. Brett will finally hang up his cleats, so to speak. He thought of doing it twice before, I believe, but this time it's seems to be written in ink, cement or whatever holds it binding. Then again, we all could be taking it the wrong way.

In any case, what a way to go. It was an awesome season for him and I'm glad he had a great year and we all still stood in amazement when he took the field. I truly wished he had gone on to win the SuperBowl this year but it was not to be. And even though I am a Seahawks' gal, I will be sorry to see Brett leave the game.

Skin, Health And A Radio Show

So imagine this--a radio show to discuss Skin care, health and your positive self-image. That would help a few teens out. And, of course, those of us gracefully entering the golden years. I mean to say their radio programs cover the war on wrinkles (that's a good fight), health and dieting, hormones and menopause (ladies this one I can't stress enough) and for your young ones learn, how to treat that acne without robbing your piggie banks to get the right treatments.

Therefore, my friends I would bookmark that page since there is so much information that you might want to come back for time and time again. Plus you can subscribe to their email list, just in case you forget to tune into their broadcast.

For myself, I will have to say that soap and water has done the trick for me. Then some sort of moisturizer and a little bit of aid for my chapped lips helps me make it through the day. Though, I find that in the summer season I am going to need some more advice.

The Biggest Money Makers So Far

These are the programs I find that come through with a paycheck consistently. Furthermore, it isn't pennies and dimes. So let's take a look.

PayPerPost will make you work a little bit for it but you'll get used to it. If you have a blog, good content and updated, you can write short copy ads for companies or even other bloggers. Just check out the post below and above this one. Minimum pay is $5 but I'm usually lucky enough to snag the $10 -$20 jobs. On Tuesdays, if your fast enough they have high paying opportunities. Last Tuesday I missed out on grabbing a $95 opp. Oh well, better luck next time. At the moment, with two blogs, I make about $30 a day. Of course, I can do better because you can accept three opps per day per blog.

Associated Content is still a good money maker even though there are so many content producers these days. I have noticed it's getting a little harder to be published since everyone likes to write about the same things. Plus the pay has gone down a little. Still, for one article of about 600 words you can easily make $4 or $5. Plus your article, make it very Google friendly, will earn $1.50 for every 1000 page views. There's ways to get these views.

I'll also mention PTC (paid to click) program, ClixSense. That's not to say I haven't been paid by the others, but it's only been a dollar here and there. ClixSense will send you about 10 adds a day, usually for 1cent a click but sometimes 2 or 5 cents. I haven't updated as yet but I've heard the pay goes up per ad clicked. I'll seriously consider upgrading. This one pays out at $10 which comes around really fast, surprising enough.

And then we have MyLot. I guess the sky is the limit with this one. Just stay as active as you can, add a bunch of friends and start funny or thought provoking discussions. I mean say "How's the Weather Where You Live?" and you'll make a bundle. It's a social network kind of community that pays darn well. Of course, there are rules but I know some people are making $50 or more a month. Me, I'm closing in on $10 again. Sorry, I get lazy once in awhile. MyLot is definitely a good one.

To round it all off we have news articles, videos and images from the Voxant NewsRoom. This program can't be easier. Embed one of these on your blog or website and you get paid for every page view. Payout is $50, I'm already there and all I did is place different stories (like the one right here below) on my blog.

There are plenty more, I'm sure, but at this point these are the ones I'm relying on. The money is there over and over again. Like I said there's a little bit of work involved. Trust me, it's worth it.

Beware The Oyster

I had a thought just a minute ago. Yes they are fleeting but sometimes very intriguing. What if an oyster produced the finest gift-wrapped piece of chocolate? Ladies you know where this is coming from. And if you would be so lucky to afford one of these oysters the chocolate would make you feel better for a whole year. Mine, mine! And every husband and boyfriend will hunt that baby down. Of course, I wonder what would happen if you actually ate two pieces. Mmmm, I feel a book coming.

Yuwie Update

Well, it has come to this. Yuwie is a much more friendly community than MySpace and for the most part, it is safer for kids. Plus Yuwie can still address the concerns of members at this stage of the game. Friends are flocking to one another over there and actually have quality content to share. For me, I am beginning to find friends who really mean something to me (as I have on blogger) and add to that the fact that we are all there to help each other earn a living on the internet. No matter how big or small that paycheck can turn out to be. If it's still a small one, your friends will share how to fatten it up. How Cool is that?!

Again, on the personal side of things, I am making a small chunk of change with Yuwie and I'm beginning to find the secrets and learning to implement them. As with any business, it takes a little time but I believe if you don't get in on it now, you might not benefit from it later. I'm just sayin'.

Writers Strike Over: We Are Back To Work

There was so much more to this strike than just watching re-runs. And even though we understood why this strike was necessary, thousands of jobs suffered including caterers, drivers, carpenters and so on. Our little corner of Hollywood was safe because my son is not the bread winner in this household. Any money he makes from acting jobs go straight into his Coogan account and the rest into a savings account. But even he was getting a little antsy. Thank goodness for JV baseball. Oh snap there's another thing I have to drive him to. LOL. Happiness!

For First Time Buyers

If there was a chance to eventually own the place that you were renting, more of us would be living a nice little dream. Unfortunately, there's probably not much chance of that happening. At least not in the US. Though I have heard, that once upon a time in the UK, renting to own was a possibility. These days, I guess the task has been a little more difficult for our British friends. However, mortgage companies are now offering better First Time Buyer Mortgage packages, so to speak.

The average down payment/deposit is a mere 5% or a low 3%. I'm thinking that it might be a good deal. Some companies have even invited the parents of first-time buyers to put their house up for collateral in lieu of any kind of down payment. Interesting proposition I must say. In any case, your first home should be exciting and a nice investment.

Writing For Associated Content

It's getting a tad bit harder writing for Associated Content these days. I'm not quite sure what the problem might be. There hasn't been any changes in the TOS and all that, but payment for articles has gone down, at least for the little people like myself. I have a great little article about writer conferences which they rejected. This was apparently due to the search engines not liking my key words, or something like that. However, "Success Stories From A Writer's Conference" has logged in a few thousands readers. Oh well, that's still good news for me since it does make me around $1.50 for every thousand views. Nothing to boast about, I know, but it doesn't take much work on my end.

In any case, it's still good practice for the everyday writer and $3.00 - $5.00 per article is not bad. Do a quick product review, or even a review on TV shows like "Lost" (around 400 - 600 words) and you've got it made. Therefore, I would still recommend it for every writer who'd like to get a few extra dollars in the pockets. So keep on writing.

I know for certain that I have mentioned MyLot before, but this online money making community is worth mentioning again. The payout, around the 10th or 15th of each month, is $10. It seems, however, that many of us are earning quite a bit more than that every month just chatting away with friends.

Yes indeed, here is the scoop. You start a discussion for which you are paid (on any topic: your pets, favorite movies, great books, bad books, your chicken noodle soup recipe that could heal the sick etc.) and you wait for people to join your discussion. This also brings in a pretty penny for you. I have successfully added around 300 wonderful and very active friends at MyLot and average about 20 to 40 (or more sometimes) comments to each of my questions. There is no limit to how many discussions you post.

I am three quarters of the way through "Mariah Mundi" written by British author GP Taylor. Mr. Taylor and I have communicated through email, so I've come to know him just a little bit. Well, by this evening I should be done with the book. I can, however, already tell you it's a must read. I will finish the book while on the treadmill since it seems I cannot fit everything into my daily schedule. lol.

My Girl Mogul

So what exactly is a Girl Mogul, you might ask? Ah, it's a beautiful thing. Take my daughter, for instance. She's one that has been quite misunderstood, we like to say. You know, she's the kind who marches to the beat of her own drums (which by the way she hears constantly).

At nineteen she has moved into her own condo, is working two jobs and goes to school part time. And what shall she be? A film director, of course. That's where that girl mogul attitude comes in. She definitely has that independent spirit and creativity seems to drive her onwards. No one can tell her that the entertainment business is hard to break into. That may be, but she'll push on nonetheless and make it happen.

And though we really don't have the finances to send her to USC film school, she has found her own way onto campus. Indeed, she has big dreams and some may laugh at her but mark my words this child dreams big and works hard to make it all come true.

This girl mogul has forged her own path and is happy walking by herself, though she does find those special people along her journey. Keep dreaming, keep walking, work hard and you know she will get there. So for you, my daughter, I give to you this colorful tote. Yellow for the warmth you radiate to others. Stuff it full with all your dreams and carry it proudly.

Boy, there's a lot of PTC sites out there. I'm probably signed on to all of them. Kidding of course. A couple of them I quickly deleted my account from when, upon research, I found out they were scams. One site promised over $500 per click. So out of curiosity I read their terms and found out you get paid within 100 years of payout request.

In any case, I'm just concentrating on ClixSense right now since they're the ones who've paid me twice already. That's over $20 for me. I guess that would add up to a pretty penny if I kept working at it and found myself a few referrals. Hint, hint. At any rate, if you haven't checked out ClixSense yet I highly recommend it. I'm not quite sure if MySpace will ever be obsolete but there are a few other social networking sites popping up on the internet. There's the ever popular FaceBook, we have JoePopular, Blogger could be considered one and also YouTube. Included in this list of social networking sites is the fast-growing Yuwie. It seems to be adding around 2,000 new members each day with a count of 410,000 total users, last I checked. Yuwie's mission is to pay their members for simply being active. Can it be done and how much can the average person actually make?

To begin with let's explore what is meant by "being and staying active," As far as I can tell it means that you get paid for; every page view, writing blog posts and when someone reads that post, uploading pictures, visiting your friends' pages, sending messages, replying to messages and really the list goes on. So in other words everything that one would do on MySpace or even FaceBook, Yuwie is attempting to pay you for. But for all intents and purposes how much of a paycheck can one bring in with all this activity. Well, not a whole lot and payout is $25. How to Have a Successful Writer's Group

Imagine a group of literary giants such as C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien gathering every Thursday. Who read the unfinished manuscript, Lord of the Rings? What was discussed? Who would dare critique and edit Mr. Lewis' Out of the Silent Planet? What was it like to edit these works? Could anyone of them have predicted the success of these writers?

This cluster of friends, known as the Inklings, also included Charles Williams (All Hallows' Eve) and Owen Barfield who was considered the first of the Inklings. Faithfully the twenty or so friends attended their meetings at a pub called The Eagle and Child. I wonder if all members were present at all gatherings.

The one thing I'm sure of is the fact they thought it important to meet. The classroom, no doubt, was necessary but gathering with others who thought and worked like you was invaluable. Did their story telling improve? One would think so.

It's not exactly a new program, as a matter of fact is has been up and running for about two and half years now with over 66,000 quality advertisers.

Here's the scoop. You receive your own little snippet of a code to place on blog and a five second audio ad is heard as soon as your site is loaded. The best news of course is that you get paid every time the ad is heard. Go ahead and count five seconds. It isn't very long. Besides people don't have to click on it or anything like that in order for you to get paid. Sounds like a pretty cool investment, wouldn't you say?

How to Publish Your Family Cook Book

Preserving A Little Bit of Family History:

Here is an easy way to preserve some of that family history while having fun. Publishing your own cookbook, I've learned, will not only bring family a little bit closer together but you'll find that different members will offer up quite a few personal stories. Stories of Grandma's kitchen, for one, can revive wonderful memories. Preserving family history therefore could be a fun project for all to get involved with. Include the family writers, artists and photographers as well as the cooks. For the sake of making publishing somewhat easier for you I'll discuss a few options to get you started.

The first item on your agenda would be to make a list of as many families you can remember. Then using email or personal cards alert them to your project. This would even include family members that you might have only met a few times or see a couple of times during the year. Believe me when I say that this is a wonderful ice breaker for you to start communicating with them. Let a few days pass before emailing a second time. Personally I would also set up a family blog, complete with old and new photographs, for updates and progress.

After your initial contact it would be wise to familiarize yourself with a few publishers who won't charge you much or those like Lulu.com who will set you up for free. Of course, if you go with Lulu, remember that you will have to do most of the book's layout and design yourself. And your best choice with Lulu would be black and white photography or sketches. Nonetheless, it is free and they take care of all orders and payments.

There are quite a few topics to help you sort through things. For example you could make a short film about any records you've broken, or how you rescued a deer that fell through the ice. I believe you can also enter your blog stories, photographs and audio. Just remember you need to stay on topic.

Here's even more fun to discuss. YawpBox has a 30-minute TV show, filmed live in Dallas where they talk about videos from their social networking site. All the content on this show is from their users, which might be you if you load quality stuff. Say It Isn't So!

Well, even bad news gets reported here at The Family Book Cellar. Yes, our beloved Seahawks go snowed under. Brett and the Packers done us in. What's even worse is that I plumb missed the whole game. Saturday was a work day for me and all four quarters just wizzed right by me. It was probably a good thing.

So congrats to the Packers and like I've said before I truly do admire Brett Favre (check out pictures on the bottom of this blog) and pray that they will go on to defeat the New England Patriots. One can only hope. I would wish for the snow at Lambeau Field to return for the Giants but I would assume those New Yorkers could play through that. As for the Hawks we shall hold our heads high (after all the tears) and wait again for next year.

Shampoo Without Water

Well let's see now. I am not quite sure if you have ever heard of this, but how convenient it would be to shampoo your hair and no water necessary. Sounds like something we could all use, especially when so many of us live life on the run--a dry shampoo would be helpful.

Let me take you back a few years when I was lucky enough to spend a few days up in the mountains on a women's retreat. Beautiful resort but as one would have it, there was a limited amount of hot water. Five women in one room, that caused a little bit of a problem when we had to share facilities. We did well with the five-minute shower which, of course, meant forget about bringing the shampoo. Really my friends, just stick it all in a bun and wrap a scarf around it, or bandanna if you will.

Come to think of it, if I had known about Salon Grafix, I might have been a hero that weekend, to say the least. After all these are the fine folks who have what is known as spray powder shampoo. Pretty neat. It's like dry cleaning your hair.

So I would say, keep a bottle of spray powder shampoo in your glove compartment for the next time you're late for class, or something like that, and didn't have time to wash your hair. They promise that there will be no white or oily residue and it easily brushes out. And did I mention it comes in different shades; for blondes, brunettes and dark black hair. My Yuwie Update

I was about to give up on Yuwie because it was beginning to feel like too much work. Then I got my family involved which was a surprise. Really, I didn't think they would be interested. Nevertheless, making money online (it's an art in itself, I tell ya) with a little effort seemed to get us talking. And now I've picked up six referrals. There's the trick, or so it seems. Referrals, referrals, referrals, etc.

Now, once you are a part of Yuwie, other members will be happy to give you some tips. After all when everyone helps each other out, theoretically we should be making money. Again, I'm finding that the referrals are the secret. Okay, so we get paid for basically everything one might do on MySpace; people viewing your page, you viewing their page and clicking on friends, adding friends, blogging, working on your page, adding pictures and the list goes on. It all looks nice on paper but again, work on getting others to sign up under you and then hope they get referrals also.

Of Gold Coins And Such

A Fun But Serious Web Release: Believe it or not the castle is still in good hands. The gold is hidden somewhere safe, that's not to say I actually remember where it's hidden. But it is there nonetheless. Now, I must confess, there's nothing really that I would know of how to invest this, or anything else for that matter. A little help is needed perhaps. I'm thinking the value of that green paper stuff in our nation has been diminished over the years. Indeed!

Now, I'm not quite understanding it still, maybe you could lend your expertise. For instance am I right to disclose that such things as gas, food etc. has not gotten more expensive but, alas, the worth of our money is less. Quite, I dare say or something to that effect.

Ah, it is my gold bullion that has not lost its worth. True, is it not? It is. Here we are then--may I suggest you unearth your treasure chest of Gold you stowed away for that rainy day, so to speak, and discuss monetary investment with the experts. Oh, yes, we have experts don't you know? Unfortunately it is not me, but may I direct you to the folks who live and breathe this stuff since 1967 (a little beyond my time I see).

Walk the path to Monex where they have the experience and resources, I might add, in any precious metals. I do love that word precious. In any case travel back with them to a time when our dollar apparently was backed by real money or silver (or my gold!). This is not to say I have much of any knowledge in this world but, no doubt, they do. After all they have helped over one hundred thousand investors and they look forward to helping you with all your investments. For heaven's sake, my friends, keep the castle.

Batman Trailer

This Batman looks darker and more edgier than all the Batman movies before it. Just the way I like it. Heath Ledger is unrecognizable as the joker. He plays "insane" very well. This one, subtitled "The Dark Knight" opens up around May of 2008. That's about the same time "Iron Man" debuts. My son worked on that one for 8 straight days. We shall see how much of that remains on the cutting floor. The trailer for "Iron Man" looks awesome.
